Program’s goals and objectives
We train Board Eligible neurosurgeons in all major areas of functional neurosurgery. In addition to surgical procedures, fellows learn outpatient care in the setting of a multidisciplinary clinic that integrates neurologists, neurosurgeons, and psychiatrists. Elements of program building and developing a research laboratory are covered during the year. Fellows must be board eligible (PGY-8) the year that the fellowship starts. Persons whose primary neurosurgical training was outside the USA, unfortunately cannot be considered.
