The ASSFN recognizes that much of the current technology used in functional neurosurgery would not be possible without early industry partnerships, and future innovation will likewise need close cooperation between surgeons, researchers, industry representatives and government agencies. We welcome our industry partners to collaborate with the ASSFN members on initiatives such as:
- Sponsoring ASSFN-directed educational content
- Running industry-led courses and opening them to the ASSFN membership and trainees
- Funding research grants for new technology or disease indications
- Sponsoring events at the biennial ASSFN national meeting
