Program’s goals and objectives

To become expert in the neurosurgical management of movement disorders, pain including trigeminal neuralgia, psychiatric conditions and application of neuromodulation therapies.
To become expert in the techniques of stereotaxy including frame-based, frameless and image-guided systems.
To become expert in the application and use of stereotactic radiosurgery and focused ultrasound lesioning.
To learn the principles of electrophysiology as applied to intra-operative microelectrode recording and stimulation techniques.
To gain experience in research methods and approaches taken in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, including translational and clinical research.
