Growing the ASSFN Community with the Associate Membership

Being an ASSFN member has long provided medical professionals in the stereotactic and functional neurosurgery field with the advantages of collaboration, networking, and resources, as well as the ability to move the field forward. Recognizing that this field involves a multi-disciplinary approach from researchers to engineers, the ASSFN is encouraging members in these areas to apply for an Associate membership with the ASSFN.
ASSFN’s Associate membership category is designed for valued colleagues whose work intersects with stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, beyond practicing neurosurgeons. This membership is a fit for allied physicians (e.g., neurology), scientists, advanced practice providers, researchers, industry professionals, and other multidisciplinary partners who contribute to the field through innovation, education, research, and patient care.
Associate members gain access to many of the same professional advantages that make ASSFN such a strong community, including educational programming, webinars, networking opportunities, leadership and committee involvement, and discounted registration for the ASSFN Annual Meeting.
The Associate membership is also an ideal way for collaborators across neurology, pain medicine, psychiatry, engineering, industry, and research to stay closely connected to the latest advances in functional neurosurgery and neuromodulation.
We encourage current members to share this opportunity with colleagues in their professional networks who may be a great fit. Whether it is a research collaborator, APP partner, industry colleague, or interdisciplinary physician, invite them to join ASSFN.
